Hockey In The UK Part I Starts This Week 

A two-part feature begins called ‘Hockey In The UK' with Neil Chiplen, a writer for Skysports.com. In the first part of the feature Chiplen talks about the state of hockey in the UK and examines some of top teams in the Elite League.

Hockey Weekend Across America is Previewed 

Hockey Weekend Across America will take place from January 29 to 31 and Puska will spend time with Senior Director of Communications for USA Hockey Dave Fisher who will fill everyone in on the national event.
There will also be a review of the ECHL All-Star Game in Ontario, California and the American Hockey League All-Star Classic in Portland, Maine. Fans won't want to miss a special feature looking at the second half of the professional hockey season called ‘The Second Half, Race to the Playoffs.'

WEEK 34 -- Second Place Is The Theme of This Week's Puska on Pucks

CLEVELAND, OH - Two teams who have been in second place in their respective leagues are part of the line-up on the all new edition of Puska on Pucks, The Original Internet Hockey Show.
Join host Denis J. Puska as he features the Mississippi Surge of the Southern Professional Hockey League and the Rapid City Rush of the Central Hockey League. Head Coaches Steffon Walby of the Surge and Joe Ferras of the Rush will guest with Puska. The Surge sits in second place in the SPHL standings, while the Rush is tied for second overall in the CHL's standings and tied for first in the Northern Conference.
Puska will also conclude his two-part feature on inductees heading into the ECHL Hall of Fame when he spends time with Cam Brown, the league's all time leader with more than 780 games played.

AHL All-Star Classic Previewed

CLEVELAND, OH - Three professional hockey leagues are featured on this week's edition of Puska on Pucks, The Original Internet Hockey Show.
Host Denis J. Puska previews the upcoming American Hockey League All-Star Classic with the new voice of the Portland Pirates Mark Jeanneret. The AHL All-Star game is set for Tuesday, Jan. 19 in Portland, Maine.

Darryl Noren begins Part 1 of two part ECHL Hall of Fame Inductees 

Fans can catch part one of a two part-two week feature on a couple of inductees going into the ECHL Hall of Fame that will take place at the ECHL All-Star Game in Ontario California. Former Charlotte Checkers forward Darryl Noren spends time on the show.Brown will be featured the week following. The two have combined for more than 1,000 points when they played in the ECHL.

Odessa, No. 1 team in CHL featured on show

The Odessa Jackalopes are the hottest team in the Central Hockey League this season and Puska discusses their success with General Manager Joe Clark. The Jackalopes lead the overall standings and many offensive categories including power play and penalty killing.

Ken McRae featured on program

CLEVELAND OH - One of the top news stories in the last seven months is a major topic of discussion on this week's edition of Puska on Puck, the Original Internet Hockey Show.
Join host Denis J. Puska as he talks about H1N1 Swine Flu and how the world of hockey is dealing with the virus. Guests on the show include ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna (above photo) and Karl Jahnke, Director of Communications and Marketing Services for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. McKenna will discuss how the ECHL has addressed the matter, while Jahnke will explain how the virus was a major problem in the QMJHL.

Ken McRae, Head Coach of the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League will also be on the program to talk about the transition he has made from coaching at the professional level to junior hockey.
Puska will also have another installment of Ice Chips and his letter to Santa Claus and gifts he wants to give some of the leagues, teams and coaches.

Two Of The Top Teams In Pro Hockey Profiled This Week

CLEVELAND - Two of the top teams in AA hockey headline another jam packed addition of Puska on Pucks - "The Original Internet Hockey Show", featuring interviews with coaches from two of the top teams in professional hockey.
Join host Denis J. Puska as he speaks with Cail MacLean of the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays, with the second best record in the league. Head Coach Dwight Mullins of the CHL's Allen Americans is also on the program. The Americans are one of two new teams in the CHL and currently have the second best record in the Southern Conference.

The popular segment Where Are They Now is back as Puska spends time with Jason Muzzatti, member of the 2006 Italian Olympic Hockey Team, former NHL player and now coach of the IHL's Flint Generals.
A new installment of Ice Chips-New and Notes from around the world of professional hockey includes an update on the new ownership of the IHL's Dayton Gems. CLEVELAND, OH -- A former National Hockey League coach and player are part of the line-up for the Thanksgiving Edition of Puska on Pucks, The Original Internet Hockey Show.
Join host Denis J. Puska for a feature on the American Hockey League's Houston Aeros and conversations with Head Coach Kevin Constantine and broadcaster Joe O'Donnell. Constantine coached the San Jose Sharks and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
There is also an interview IHL Commissioner Dennis Hextall who is in charge of helping to take the league to the next level. Hextall played in more than 600 games with seven different NHL teams. Don Money, editor for the SPHL section on www.prohockeynews.com will also be stopping by to discuss some early news in the circuit.
