HERE'S A RECAP OF PRE-SEASON EDITIONS:

Week 2:

On this show, the voice of the New York Islanders Steve Mears discusses the team's difficulties during the 08-09 season, the NHL Entry Draft and some hot topics in the league.

Week 3:

Former WPHL and CHL Broadcaster Sean McEnany discusses news from around professional hockey including the decision by the Kalamazoo Wings to no longer be part of the International Hockey League.

Week 4:

An up close look at the American Hockey League is featured with the voice of the Lake Erie Monsters John Michael and former voice of the San Antonio Rampage Joe Dominey.

Week 5:

Jim Combs, Commissioner of the Southern Professional Hockey League talks about the league's future.

Joe Clark, General Manager of the Odessa Jackalopes of the Central Hockey League talks about his franchise's great success during the 08-09 season. There is also a preview of the NHL Draft in Montreal with Puska on Pucks mock NHL Draft.

Week 6:

The latest news in minor professional hockey including the Oklahoma City Blazers announcing they are leaving the Central Hockey League. There is also analysis of the NHL Draft in Montreal.

Denis J. Puska take's a look back at the Oklahoma City Blazers and their time spent in the Central Hockey League. VP of Communications for the CHL Bob Hoffman discusses the league moving forward without one of it's signature franchises.

Week 8: 

Partner/General Manager of the defending President's Cup Champion Texas Brahmas Mike Barack talks about the recent success of the franchise winning the Central Hockey League Championship, the future of minor professional hockey and the recent news about Oklahoma City Blazers leaving the league for the AHL.

ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna drops by to discuss plans for the 2009-2010 season and a look at the future of the league. Fans can also get the latest news headlines from across minor professional hockey and much more.

Week 10:

The new Head Coach of the Huntsville Havoc Randy Murphy is welcomed to the program. He discusses how Coach Murphy plans rebuild the Havoc and get them a shot at the Southern Professional Hockey League Championship. Puska will also have another edition of his ‘Ice Chips Segment' on the latest news in the world of professional hockey.

Week 11:

This week's show is from the IX-Center in Cleveland Ohio at the Sports Collections Convention. On the program are Wayne Otto from http://www.gamewornuniforms.com/, Victor J. Moreno from Auction America Memorabilia Magazine, officials from Touched By An Angel Sports Cards and Memorabilia and http://www.blowoutcards.com/. You can also find a sneak preview of a special two-part interview with Laredo Bucks President and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski.

Week 12:

Part 1 of the two part inteview with Laredo Bucks President and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski is featured. Ruskowski talks about how he plans to retool the Bucks for the upcoming 2009-2010 Central Hockey League season and preparations for the CHL All-Star Game set for January in Laredo. Puska also welcomes Chairman of the Board for the International Hockey League Michael Franke who will discuss what has been a busy and exciting off season for the league. Another edition of Ice Chips-News and Notes from around the world of professional hockey is also featured, looking at all levels of the game. The first poll question asks fans ‘if the NHL should take responsibility for the state of hockey and do something to help other levels of hockey in order to improve the overall game.'

Week 13:

On this edition is a feature on the Kalamazoo Wings and their preparations on their first season in the ECHL. Puska interviews the voice of the Wings' Mike Modugno on the fan reaction on joining on the new league and some of the new cities the team will be travelling to. Fans are also invited to listen to Part 2 of the interview with Laredo Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski.

The News and Notes Ice Chips Segment focuses on the latest from around the world of professional hockey, including the recent coaching announcements in the International Hockey League, player signings in the Central Hockey League and a new contest in The Hockey News. There will also be more responses to the Poll Question of the Week. Fans are asked ‘if the NHL should take responsibility for the state of hockey and do something to help other levels of hockey in order to improve the overall game.'

Week 14:

It's a show of champions on Week 14 edition with two coaches from teams who won respective pro hockey championships during the 2008-2009 season. Dan Wildfong guided the Texas Brahmas to their first President Cup Championship in the Central Hockey League. It's just Wildfong's second year behind the bench. The Knoxville Ice Bears won their third Southern Professional Hockey League Championship in five years, but as they get set to defend their crown -- they will do it with a new bench boss. Mark Rogers, who was the team's Assistant Coach on the championship team, takes over behind the bench. A new edition of ‘Ice Chips' looking at the week's top stories in professional hockey and two new poll questions will also be part of the program.

Week 15:

In this edition it's ‘Making the Cut So You Want to Be a Professional Hockey Player.' Four players are documented on the feature, including Darryl Smith, Justin Styffe, Keith Longo and Andrew Brennan. Smith completed his first season of professional hockey with the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League. Smith was chosen as the CHL's Rookie of the Year and this year will attend in the rookie camp of the NHL's Atlanta Thrashers. Styffe played this past season for the Flint Generals of the International Hockey League and quickly developed a reputation as being one of the tough guys. Styffe fought more than 25 times during his rookie season. He will attend the training camp of the CHL's Laredo Bucks. Goaltender Keith Longo and defenseman Andrew Brennan completed their four years at Hobart College, a Division III school. The two have signed contracts to play for the Amarillo Gorillas of the CHL. Puska will also talk to Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News about the very popular online Jersey Tournament.  Fans will be able to get the latest news and notes from around professional hockey on another segment of Ice Chips News and Notes.

Week 15 XTRA:

Join Denis J. Puska as he interviews Darryl Smith and Justin Styffe who completed their first seasons of professional hockey and are ready for their second season. Smith is attending the rookie camp of the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League, while Styffe will suit up for the Laredo Bucks. Goaltender Keith Longo and defenseman Andrew Brennan, who played four seasons at Division III Hobart College Statesman are also featured on the program. They have both signed with the Amarillo Gorillas of the Central Hockey League.

Week 16:

Host Denis J. Puska interviews Larry Courville, Head Coach of the Reading Royals of the ECHL and Jeff Christian, Player-Assistant Coach with the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League. Fans can also get the latest news and notes on professional hockey with ‘Ice Chips' as well as an update on the Phoenix Coyotes Bankruptcy hearings. Puska will also reflect on the anniversary on the attacks of 9-11. 

Week 17:

On this show are Stan Drulia, General Manager and Head Coach of the Port Huron Icehawks of the International Hockey League and Pat Dunn, VP and General Manager of the Corpus Christi Ice Rays of the Central Hockey League. The Icehawks have been very successful both on and off the ice in Port Huron in their two years and they are hoping to continue the momentum. Dunn, and beat writer Greg Rajan of the Corpus Christi Caller-Times drop by to discuss the Ice Rays plans to move back to Memorial Coliseum. Fans can also get the latest news from around the world of professional hockey on ‘Ice Chips', as well as results of The Hockey News Jersey Tournament and much more.

Week 18:

A new team and a new league is featured on the Week 18 edition. Join host Denis J. Puska as he speaks with the new General Manager and Head Coach of the Pensacola Ice Flyers Todd Gordon about the return of hockey to the Gulf Coast.

Fans will also be able to find out about the new All American Hockey League (AAHL) as Commissioner Bob Langdon discusses their season ahead.  The latest news and notes on professional hockey with Ice Chips is also featured.
